Magnolia stellata ‘Waterlily’ (Star magnolia)
The Magnolia stellata ‘Waterlily’ is a slow-growing, compact deciduous shrub or small tree, prized for its abundant, star-shaped flowers. The blooms are pure white, lightly fragrant, and appear in early spring, often as early as March, before the leaves emerge.
It typically grows 2–3 meters tall and thrives in a sunny, sheltered spot with slightly acidic, well-drained soil. Perfect for small gardens, front yards, or as a specimen plant.
